Thomas van Lieshout was born in Lopik, the Netherlands. After high school, he pursued his fascination with art at the Nederlandse Academie voor Beeldcreatie (NAVB), where he focused on film and visual storytelling. At the age of 17, he wrote and directed his first short film, “De Zolder.” He continued to experiment with various film formats, such as documentaries, corporate films, and television.
